MLR Sustainability Mission Statement:
“At MLR Networks, our commitment to environmental stewardship is integral to our operations and quality management practices. Ensuring excellence in both quality and environmental performance.
Our 2023-2024 End-of-Year Carbon Report reflects our significant strides in reducing our carbon footprint, with notable reductions in Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions related to fleet vehicles, electricity usage, and employee commuting and business travel. Maintaining ISO 9001 certification underscores our dedication to systematic quality management and continuous improvement.
Looking ahead, we are fully committed to meeting the UK’s Net Zero target by 2050, with ambitions to achieve this sooner. Our strategy includes transitioning to 100% renewable energy contracts, deploying solar PV systems, implementing sustainable travel policies, and enhancing emission data accuracy through the MLR Engage Carbon Portal. We will focus on improving data precision for business travel emissions and expanding our reporting to cover both upstream and downstream emissions.
MLR Sustainability Mission Statement:
In line with our sustainability goals, the recent acquisition of Lifecycle IT aligns with our mission to integrate environmentally responsible practices across all aspects of our business, Lifecycle IT brings valuable expertise in refurbishing, reusing, and recycling IT equipment.
For the 2024-2025 period, we will rigorously review our carbon reporting pathways, launch the Engage Carbon Portal, and establish concrete net-zero targets.
